Preparation Examination Preparation £25/lesson You may need to study for an examination in order to enter university, in which case I can help you prepare and familiarise yourself with the examination format and techniques for success. Even if you do not need a qualification for work or study, preparing for an examination can also be excellent motivation to improve your overall level of English. If you are not sure which examination is right for you, I will discuss this with you. I would recommend starting to prepare at least 3 months before your examination date, ideally taking two lessons or more per week. All examination preparation courses are offered on an individual basis. Come for an intial 45-minute consultation, free of charge with no obligations. I sometimes run small group classes for examination preparation - please contact me for times and prices. • Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) - ideal for Upper-Intermediate students • Cambridge Advanced Examination (CAE) - for advanced students, who already have a good knowledge of grammar and a wide vocabulary • Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE) - for very advanced users, this examination is ideal if you wish to teach English in the future • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) - for those who need entry to a British university or wish to work professionally in the UK |
