About
Me I am originally from the south of England, but I have lived in Edinburgh for 6 years. I love the city and the Scottish landscape. I enjoy learning foreign languages and meeting people from all over the world. After studying French and German at school, I decided to specialise in Italian and Russian at university. I graduated from Durham University in 1997 with a First Class Honours degree in Italian and Russian. I then spent one year in Bologna, Italy, where I taught English, before coming back to the UK to study for a Masters Degree in English Literature. I then trained as a secondary school teacher and worked for several years at Wolverhampton Grammar School where I taught Italian and French. I moved to Scotland in 2002 and since that time I have worked in several well-known language schools in Edinburgh. I have worked both as a teacher and also in marketing, travelling to countries such as Russia and Japan. In 2007 I decided to start my own English language service, with the aim to provide a friendly and flexible service, where each client is treated as an individual. As I can speak several different languages, I can identify with people's difficulties in English! I look forward to meeting you! |
